November is World Vegan Month, and as committed foodies we’ve pulled together a delicious plant-based dinner party menu that everyone can enjoy.

There has been a lot of confusion around veganism, but being vegan simply means eating a plant-based diet free of animal foods and products including meat, dairy, and honey, and living in a way that avoids the exploitation of and cruelty to animals wherever possible.

Around 6% of Americans (that's 19.5 million people) are now vegan, and the number of vegans worldwide is increasing every year.

The number of mouth-watering vegan recipes in our cookbooks is also increasing — nearly half the recipes in Dehydrating at Home are vegan! — and today we’re sharing some of our favourites.

Halloween and goodies go together like a witch and her broomstick, so for your Halloween snack menu, we turned to the expert on all things witch-related: author and illustrator Gregoire Solotareff.

His book Dictionary of Witches is filled with everything there is to know about these creepy crones and even has a handful of frightful foods that witches love. To make these recipes more palatable to all the non-witches out there, we’ve taken Solotareff's disgusting delicacies and given them a devilishly delicious Halloween party twist.
